Chef Kevin Sharpe is a graduate of North Georgia Technical College with his Chefs Coat in Culinary Arts. For more than a decade, Kevin has been creating meals and cooking for the community as a Chef and training with some of the finest Chefs in Union County. Kevin is currently the Chef Manager at The Bean Pod Shoppe. He creates specialized meals and menus, and leads the culinary team.
Chantel Patterson is a Christian, Wife, Mother, entrepreneur, the Owner of The Bean Pod Shoppe and JanC Sunshine Partners, LLC., alumni of Young Harris College and earned her Masters degree in History from UNG.After an extended illness of her grandmother, the idea of a local community take and bake shoppe was born. It was difficult caring for her grandmother with a full time career, being a mother and wife. It took almost a year to get the business started. In 2018, Chantel opened a brick and mortar in hopes of creating a small shoppe for the community to pick up home cooked meals that were take & bake style dishes.
Today, with the support of a strong culinary team, we now serve Lunch and Dinners, offer small catering jobs, personalized meal prep, daily specials, vegan dishes, vegetarian options, allergy sensitive ingredients, groceries, and meals for pups!
